The problem

Kross Finance needed a safe way for partners to plug into its core financial workflows without exposing internal services, and core service layers that had become hard to change.

What I built

A proxy service deployed on a private network that acts as the partner integration interface, and automates partner business processes end to end.

I also worked with stakeholders on technology roadmaps, and refactored critical service layers using SOLID principles: single-responsibility classes, polymorphism to cut cyclomatic complexity and the command pattern for extensibility.

The result

The gateway now processes more than 6% of all FY23 transaction volume, and the roadmap work improved service performance by 17%, with better maintainability and test coverage.
